The Chef's Journal reveals LUKA Restaurant and Coffee!

Hello, world! This is Chef Blake, and I want to share another classic must-visit restaurant to add to your dining list. I stumbled upon Luka Restaurant and Coffee one night after finishing my martial arts training, when I noticed a menu posted outside. The food in the pictures looked healthy, and the prices seemed affordable. It's a family-owned establishment that has been fully renovated from top to bottom, creating a truly classy atmosphere. To this day, I love dining there; it has become one of my favorite restaurants.

Luka's name comes from a blend of the owners' names: Luis and Catalina (Cata). The original location opened three years ago in Doral, FL, and remains thriving, while the second location is situated in Plantation, FL, on University Drive. The cuisine and atmosphere are both delightful, with a focus on Latin American food, and the coffee is exceptional. My personal favorite dish is the carne asada arepa with the special green sauce!  They offer meat platters, vegetarian options, and a variety of dishes that balance both. Their Latin American food is incredibly delicious and healthy. As I always say, fresh ingredients yield fresh taste.

Luka is a must-visit on your restaurant bucket list, and it certainly does not disappoint. Buen provechol!
